Venice, Louisiana ETC.
I just discovered there is a Venice, Louisiana ("the furthest south you can travel the Mississippi by car" says Alec Soth). How many other Venices are there (besides the three I've already accounted for)? Google lied to me the first search. Then I spent 20 minutes typing in Venice followed by every state in the US and guess what? There is also a Venice in the following states: Nebraska, Illinois, Michigan, Ohio, and New York. They are such small towns that they hardly register on the map. I will not be going to those Venices this summer (or ever = famous last words).
